COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 1,307 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 4,820,197.
Active infections stood at 25,083, down 8.2 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Another five deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which one was declared as "brought in dead".
The deaths were in Johor (3), Kedah (1) and Sabah (1).
Over the past week, an average of 4.6 people were reported to have died of the disease, while the average for the past 30 days was six, indicating such deaths are on a downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,317 deaths have been attributed to the coronavirus.
There are 1,160 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 55 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Sabah (58) followed by Selangor (58) and Perak (29).
