COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 3,045 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative infections to 4,735,547.
Active cases stood at 43,431, down 2.7 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Another five deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday. The deaths were in Kedah (3), Johor (1) and Perak (1).
Over the past week, an average of 8.4 people were reported to have died of the disease, while the average for the past 30 days was eight, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on the uptrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,085 deaths have been attributed to the coronavirus.
There are 1,567 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised, of which 72 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (117) followed by Sabah (69) and Johor (68).
