A person has apparently fallen to death at the Suria KLCC mall in Kuala Lumpur tonight.

The deceased was identified as a 23-year-old woman and the incident was caught on the mall’s CCTV system.

The woman appeared to be walking alone prior to her fall, said Dang Wangi district police chief Noor Dellhan Yahaya in a statement.

“Further investigations are still ongoing,” he said.

He said the incident occurred at around 9.38pm. Dang Wangi police’s control centre was alerted by a call from a member of the public at 9.45pm.

Photos of the scene have surfaced on social media, showing a body being covered on the mall’s floor.
