A total of 36.8 million trees have been planted nationwide so far through the 100 Million Tree-Planting Campaign, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Takiyuddin Hassan said.

He said the trees planted under the Malaysian Greening programme launched on Jan 5 last year comprised more than 1,000 species.
