COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 2,425 new daily Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 4,547,051.
Active cases currently stood at 27,026, up 22.5 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Another four deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which one was declared as "brought in dead".
The deaths were reported in Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak and Sabah.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 35,741 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There have been 65 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 129 deaths last month and 564 deaths in April.
There are 1,020 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 30 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Johor (110) followed by Selangor (106) and Sabah (84).
