COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 25,099 new daily Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 3,246,779.
Active cases currently stood at 258,985, up 212 percent compared to 14 days ago.
Of the active cases, there are 7,783 Covid-19 patients (3.05 percent) who are hospitalised of which 272 are in intensive care.
Nationwide, the hospital utilisation rate is at 70.5 percent. No state has a utilisation rate above 86 percent.
ICU utilisation in the country, meanwhile, is at 59.3 percent.

Meanwhile, another 43 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which 13 were declared as 'brought in dead'.
Over the past week, an average of 34.4 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 16.9, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on the uptrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 32,390 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
Johor and Selangor had the most new reported deaths yesterday at 10 each.
This was followed by Kedah (7), Sabah (5), Kelantan (2), Pahang (2), Penang (2), Malacca (1), Negeri Sembilan (1), Sarawak (1), Terengganu (1), Kuala Lumpur (1).
