A spokesperson from the office of Dr Mahathir Mohamad has confirmed that the former premier is currently being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN)'s coronary care unit (CCU).

At close to 4pm, the spokesperson responded to media queries, stating, "Yes, he is in CCU".
