Penang is asking the federal government to consider including the Penang International Airport (PIA) in the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangement between Malaysia and Indonesia.

State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin this was because the earlier announcement made concerning the arrangement on the Malaysian side only involved the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
