Amanah's Sepang MP Hanipa Maidin has criticised outgoing prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin's apparent inconsistent position on fighting "kleptocrats".

Hanipa said while Muhyiddin had touted his days in Umno where he was sacked because he was steadfast against "kleptocrats" in Umno, the Pagoh MP had no qualms about forming an alliance with them when he launched a coup against the Pakatan Harapan federal government in 2020.
