Open court criminal trials in enhanced movement control order (MCO) areas are not allowed to operate, according to Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

In a media statement today, the defence minister said that only online proceedings for civil court actions are allowed to operate during Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) including in enhanced MCO areas.
