A medical student at a local university has claimed that she was barred from sitting for the Medical Qualifying Examination (MQE) because she was not vaccinated against Covid-19.

The medical student’s father, Mohd Razif, claimed that Universiti Malaya failed to inform his daughter, Nik Farah Ellisha, earlier that her lack of vaccination would prove to be a barrier for her third-year exams.
