The wife of a police officer has been fined RM2,000 for visiting her husband who was on duty at a roadblock during Hari Raya.

Putrajaya district police chief Mohd Fadzil Ali, who initially denied any violation of the movement control order (MCO) standard operating procedure (SOP) against Covid-19, announced the fine in a statement today.

Images of the wife's visit, together with her children, to see their father at the roadblock had gone viral on social media.
