Health Minister Dr Adham Baba has denied a report claiming the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had obtained Sinopharm’s Covid-19 vaccine, which has not been approved for use in Malaysia, for his family members.
The Malaysian Insight reported today that Adham had dismissed the article by Asia Sentinel recently, describing it as a baseless claim.
He also stressed that the purchase of vaccine in this country has to undergo a thorough evaluation by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA).
