Disruptions caused by a container ship stuck in Egypt's Suez Canal, which has halted marine traffic through the most important waterway connecting East and West, would have a minimal impact on Malaysia, as the country's ports are well equipped to handle more than a ship at a time.
Port Klang Authority general manager Capt K Subramaniam said Port Klang and Port of Tanjung Pelepas were the only Malaysian ports receiving calls from Europe and the Mediterranean.
