1. Umno's Ketereh MP Annuar Musa openly accused those who were not appointed to the cabinet of being responsible for the split in the party.

2. Meanwhile, Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi questioned Annuar's motive in lobbying the prime minister to appoint a deputy from among BN leaders.

3. Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi repeated his call for Parliament to reconvene, pointing out that many MPs have been vaccinated.

4. But de facto Law Minister Takiyuddin Hassan maintained that the government can function without Parliament, pointing out that the legislature did not convene for two years during the 1969 emergency.

5. DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said his party is prepared to work with Umno to push for Parliament to be restored but not in the 15th general election.

6. DAP leaders hit back at PKR for "revising" history after PKR claimed opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim could have ditched DAP during the Sheraton Move.

7. Tuaran MP Wilfred Madius Tangau cautioned Pakatan Harapan that it may be punished if it engaged in the "naked pursuit of power".

11. North Korean diplomats were expelled after the country decided to sever ties with Malaysia, Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein announced.
