A veteran MACC officer today said that the 47 corruption charges against Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, to his personal knowledge, was the highest number faced by a politician following the 2018 change in government.

Khairudin Kilau, the 99th and final prosecution witness in Zahid's corruption, criminal breach of trust and money laundering trial, said this during cross-examination by defence lawyer Hisyam Teh Poh Teik at the Kuala Lumpur High Court.
