A total of 11 senior and lower-ranking police officers are facing disciplinary action in relation to the rape incident of a 16-year-old girl at the Miri central police station lock-up.

Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (Jips) director Zamri Yahya said the officers found to be negligent in carrying out their duties will either be demoted or terminated from their positions.
