DAP has accused the federal government of weaponizing Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong with regard to the cancellation of three out of four major projects in Penang.

At a press conference in George Town this morning, party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the MCA president has been used as the "main weapon to victimise" Penangites.

Reiterating the move to cancel the projects as "politics of vengeance", the former chief minister said 1.6 million people in Penang would suffer losses if the projects are not fully restored or carried out as scheduled...
