2. However, the party's Ketereh MP Annuar Musa maintained that Umno should not cooperate with either PKR president Anwar Ibrahim or the DAP, setting the competing factions in Umno on a collision course.

3. Umno's Padang Rengas MP Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz claimed Bersatu is paying off Umno members in his constituency to party form branches for Bersatu but Perak Bersatu disputed this.

4. In what appeared to be a prelude to Umno's rebellion within the PN government, 189 out of 191 Umno divisions rejected cooperation with Bersatu during their divisional meetings.

5. The MACC raided Prasarana Malaysia Berhad headquarters amid complaints that it was withholding RM700 million in payments to contractors for work done on the LRT3 project.

6. Tajuddin, who is also the Prasarana chairperson, rejected advice not to interfere in the LRT3 project and insisted that bumiputera contractors should be prioritised.

7. The LRT3 turnkey contractor MRCB-George Kent disputed Tajuddin's claim, stating that it had appointed bumiputera contractors beyond the 30 percent quota, reaching almost 40 percent.

8. Singapore said Malaysia's attempt to do away with the AssetsCo model, which would have required tenders to be jointly managed by both countries, was a key reason why the High Speed Rail project was aborted.
