Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

OFFICES

- Kwong Wah Yit Poh Press, Kuala Lumpur

An employee from the Chinese daily had tested positive for Covid-19.

He confirmed with Malaysiakini that he received his test results this morning.

The employee said he has already informed his office and that so far, he is the only positive case from the office.


BUSINESSES

- Ikea Damansara, Mutiara Damansara, Selangor

Several Covid-19 cases were detected among Ikea employees after routine scheduled testing.

The company said the branch in Damansara would be closed on Jan 2 until further notice for sanitisation and contact tracing.

- Club Aloha, Plaza Damas, Kuala Lumpur

An individual who attended the Aloha Ride class at Aloha Cycle Club at 7am on Dec 29 tested positive has tested positive for Covid-19.

He underwent testing after an instructor tested positive for Covid-19.

Both were present at the fitness centre on the same day.

- Pasaraya OTK, Gombak

A staff member tested positive for Covid-19, the supermarket said in a notice today.

The supermarket has been sanitised while other staff identified as close contacts will undergo Covid-19 screening and observe home quarantine.


RESIDENCES

- Citizen Condominium, Old Klang Road, Selangor

The management said in a notice dated Jan 1 that a resident from Block A, Level 27 had tested positive for Covid-19.

The patient’s family members will also undergo screening and self-quarantine.

Sanitisation and disinfection will be carried out. 

- PV10 Platinum Lake, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice dated Jan 2 that a resident from Block D had tested positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation will be carried out in all common areas.

- Residensi Pandanmas 2, Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice that a resident from Block D, Level 16 had tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 31.

Another resident had also tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 30.

- Zeva Residence, Seri Kembangan, Selangor

The management confirmed in a notice dated Jan 2 that a resident from Level 1 Block C has tested positive for Covid-19.

All affected areas have been sanitised and disinfected.

- Riana Green East, Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur

A family at Block D tested positive for Covid-19, the management said.

Lifts at that block will be closed today and reopened tomorrow.

Residents entry lane, the swimming pool and gym rooms will be closed until further notice.

Block D has been disinfected while the other blocks will be disinfected on Monday.

- Casa Andaman, Subang Jaya, Selangor

The management of this apartment building said it is working with Mydin Mohamed Holdings to list all of the hypermarket's workers staying there, so the residents can be tested for Covid-19.

This is after the management was informed by Mydin that 52 staff working at Mydin Mall USJ1 tested positive for Covid-19.

The notice by Casa Andaman was dated Dec 30.

Mydin Mall USJ1 had announced cases among its staff and sanitised the building on Dec 29.


CONSTRUCTION SITES

- Setia Sky Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur

The construction site was closed starting Dec 28 after cases were detected there, according to a notice by the Health Ministry at the site.

This is believed to be linked to the Tapak Bina Awan Puteh cluster announced by the ministry on Dec 29.

The ministry said the cluster has 29 cases to date and is located in the Lembah Pantai district, which also covers Seputeh.
