3. The government also imposed a lockdown in three locations in Johor and Negeri Sembilan after a spike in cases.

5. The Covid-19 pandemic had also exposed poor living conditions for migrant workers in Malaysia, particularly among glove factories, prompting global importers to reconsider their business relations with the country.

6. The Human Resource Ministry said it is investigating one of the glovemakers for providing poor living conditions to workers and the company and its subsidiaries are facing 30 charges as well as an RM1.5 million fine under the Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990.

7. Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah urged the public not to lie about their symptoms after a Covid-19 patient who concealed his symptoms led to a doctor becoming infected.

8. Amanah Youth urged Harapan leaders to discuss the idea of forming a grand coalition in the opposition in the presidential council.

9. However, Pejuang pro-tem president Mukhriz Mahathir said his yet to be registered party won't support any prime ministerial candidate who has the backing of "corrupt" Umno leaders.

10. Meanwhile, Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan said BN, too, is open to accepting any party that wants to join the coalition, but added that its existing members must be consulted.

11. The Kuala Langat Public Works Department apologised to Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin over a pothole in Banting after it caused the Rembau MP to be involved in a cycling mishap.
