M’sia Covid-19 cases exceed 100k, and other news you may have missed

1. Malaysia’s Covid-19 tally has reached over 100,000 cases, with a record-high of 19,860 cases still active. Among the casualties yesterday include a 15-year-old girl who was brought in dead at Lahad Datu Hospital despite not having a history of chronic disease.

2. Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii argued that money is not the only factor in how Singapore obtained Covid-19 vaccines sooner than Malaysia, but the country was also more proactive in its planning.
