The 29-year-old Top Glove security guard who succumbed to Covid-19 was already in the late stage of the infection when he was hospitalised, Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.

“When he was hospitalised, he was already in the late stages (of Covid-19), that is stage 4 and stage 5, and he was placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)...
