Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

BUSINESSES

- Snowflake, Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur

The management said on Dec 13 that a staff member from this branch of the dessert shop had tested positive for Covid-19.

The branch will be closed effective Dec 13 until further notice for disinfection works.

All other employees will undergo swab tests as well.

- Zenith Hotel, Kuantan, Pahang

A staff member has tested positive for Covid-19, the management said on its website.

The staff member had been away and has not had recent close contact with other staff, it said.

Even so, the hotel is closing temporarily for disinfection.

- B5 Johor Street Market, Johor Bahru, Johor

The outdoor shopping mall is closed until Dec 19, believed to be due to a Covid-19 case detected there.

The Ministry of Health instructed the outdoor mall to close for sanitation.

It is located opposite Angsana Mall, which last week was ordered to close after a cluster of cases were detected there.

- Maybank Jalan Sulaiman and Pusat Kewangan Automotif, Muar, Johor

A staff member at Maybank Jalan Sulaiman, Muar tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 14.

The staff is believed to have contracted the virus from a household member.

The staff has been in quarantine since Dec 7.

This branch and Pusat Kewangan Automotif, which share the same entrance, have been disinfected.

All staff who had close contact will be quarantined for 14 days, and the branch will be closed temporarily. 


GOVERNMENT BUILDING

- Puspakom Johor Bahru, Johor

Puspakom Johor Bahru is closed starting yesterday after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

All other employees will undergo Covid-19 screening, Puspakom said in a statement.

Those who had contact with the infected worker are under home quarantine.

All fees paid for appointments which are now cancelled will be refunded, it added. 


FACTORIES

- Hartalega Bestari Jaya, Selangor and Hartalega Next Generation Integrated Glove Manufacturing Complex (NGC), Sepang

Glove manufacturer Hartalega said 20 of its employees based at its Bestari Jaya plants and 15 employees based at the NGC had tested positive for Covid-19. All 35 of them were asymptomatic.

This was detected after the company sent 8,772 of its personnel for Covid-19 testing.

All primary contacts of the affected individuals over the past 14 days have been identified and placed under quarantine. They will undergo subsequent testing before they are permitted to return to work.

Some production lines have temporarily shut down and the capacity loss is estimated to be less than 0.5 percent of the annual output.

Thorough disinfection of all affected areas has been carried out.

- KN Knitting Industries Sdn Bhd, Batu Pahat, Johor

According to factory personnel, the factory has been closed until further notice due to a number of Covid-19 cases.

- Yamaha Electronic Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Klebang, Perak

According to Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Covid-19 cases have been detected at this factory.

The outbreak there caused cases to spike in the area, prompting the authorities to impose an enhanced movement control order on Taman Klebang Jaya.

The order was lifted today, but the minister said there are still active cases involving the Yamaha factory.


RESIDENCES

- Pantai Hillpark 5 Condominium, Kuala Lumpur

The management announced that a resident at Block 1 has tested positive today, and a sanitisation contractor would sanitise lifts and common areas of all blocks at 8.30pm today.
