RESIDENCES

- Setia Pinnacle Condominium, Bayan Lepas

The management of Setia Pinnacle Condominium, in a circular to residents, confirmed a resident tested positive for Covid-19 today.

The management added that it has taken the necessary measures to sanitise all frequent access facilities, according to China Press.

- First Residence, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

A resident in this Kepong Baru condominium was found positive for Covid-19 on Dec 4, according to a notice by the building's management issued on Saturday (Dec 5).  

It said the resident lived on Level 13 of Block A.

Following this, the management will be conducting sanitisation works at all common areas of Block A, including the lobby.

- Lakeville Residence, Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur

The condominium management body issued a notice saying that two tenants of a shoplot at the building have been found positive for Covid-19.

It said that the individuals last came to their office on Nov 26, and had been discharged from hospital on Dec 4.

All residents are advised to follow the Covid-19 standard operating procedure and contact health authorities should they have been in close contact with an infected person or are having symptoms.


GOVERNMENT

- Penang Development Corporation, Bangunan Lim Chong Eu, Bayan Lepas

Penang Development Corporation (PDC), in a statement, said a staff member had been infected with Covid-19.

"As a precaution, PDC's office will be closed on Dec 7 for thorough sanitisation works.

"The management has also identified close contacts of the officer and all have been instructed to work from home," it said.


BUSINESSES

- RHB Complex, Bangi, Selangor

RHB Banking Group confirmed two of its employees at from RHB Complex in Bangi, Selangor tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 5.

They were last present at the building on Nov 27 and 30.

"Deep cleaning and sanitisation activities have been carried out in accordance with the Health Ministry guidelines.

"RHB is assisting relevant authorities with contact tracing efforts and as an added precaution, employees who had come into close contact with the affected employees are also being placed on home-quarantine," it said.

- Employees Provident Fund / KWSP Johor Bahru, Johor

According to Kosmo!, the EPF branch issued a notice earlier today saying that a staff member was tested positive for Covid-19. 

This came before a video clip went viral on social media, showing an individual, believed to be the branch's security guard, making an announcement using loudhailer advising the public not to enter its premises due to the incident.

- Imbi Plaza, Kuala Lumpur

One of the tenants at Imbi Plaza tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday (Dec 5).

According to a person who works at the building, the building management issued a notice on the same day saying that the affected person has been hospitalised while other staff at the outlet were ordered to undergo Covid-19 tests.

The notice also said that Imbi Plaza is closed for two days, and will reopen on Tuesday, Dec 8.

- Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, Bentong, Pahang

The Bentong Municipal Council issued a notice today, saying that premises inside the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets have been ordered to close from Dec 6 until 8.

They are Asics Malaysia, Onitsuka Tiger, Nike Sales (M) Sdn Bhd, Calvin Klein, Two Thousand Apparel Sdn Bhd, Lacoste, Westime Sdn Bhd, Padini, Cotton On, Sacoor Brothers and the public surau inside the building. 

The premises were also ordered to carry out disinfection and cleaning activities on the spot.

According to the council's Facebook page, the order was issued after Covid-19 positive patients were found to have visited the premises.

- Skyavenue and Genting World Resorts, Genting Highlands, Bentong, Pahang

A notice was issued by the Bentong Municipal Council today ordering ten business premises at Genting Highlands' Skyavenue and Genting World Resorts to close from Dec 6 to 8.

The businesses were also ordered to carry out disinfection and cleaning activities as soon as possible.

They include the 168-store at the Grand Hotel, Factory Outlet Store at Skyavenue, HM Retail Sdn Bhd (Skyavenue), Palsaik Korean BBQ Restaurant (Skyavenue), Awana (Genting World Resorts), Vision City Entrance Zone B (Genting World Resorts), Skyway Awana Station, Factory Outlet Store at Awana Skyway Station, Royal Sporting House (Skyavenue) and Watson (Awana Sky Central).

- Over 40 business premises in Bentong district

Besides premises in Genting Highlands, the Bentong Municipal Council today also slapped temporary closure notices on 44 other businesses in the district.

According to the council's Facebook page, the businesses listed are those which were recently visited by individuals who had since been found positive for Covid-19. 

They are told to close from today until Tuesday (Dec 8) and carry out disinfection activities as soon as possible.

The premises are as follows:

Food and beverages: Kedai Kopi dan Makanan Weng Fatt, Kedai Kopi Gelanggang Kampung Perting, Restoran Nasi Kandar Permai, Pan Mee House at Jalan Chui Yin, Big House Sdn Bhd at Kampung Kemansur, Kedai Kopi Fai Meng at Kampung Kemansur, Yuan Kie Kopitiam at Jalan Chui Yin, Bentong Wet Market, Kedai Makanan Dan Minuman Weng Chai in Desa Damai, Restoran Tawakal, Bak Yie Tin Kopitiam at Jalan Chui Yin, Mak Chu Corner, Warung Roti Canai Man Kedah, Scha Ain Tomyam Kung, De Permai Sdn Bhd Secret Recipe Bentong, Perniagaan Amy Lai, Ly Corner Kopitiam, Restoran Al-Azmi Bistro, Yuan Kie Kopitiam, Perting Ban Mee, Lou Kok Roasted at Jalan Tan Sri Chan Chiang Sun, Good Tea Jalan Tan Sri Chan Chiang Sun, Restoran Krauthai, Restoran Kaifan Bentong, Starbucks Genting Permai, 7-Eleven Loke Yew, Bak Ye Tin Kopitiam at Jalan Chui Yin, Kedai Makanan Lee Sing Kee at Jalan Ah Peng.

Healthcare facilities: BP Diagnostic Centre, Poliklinik Damai, Mercury Pharmacy Pahang, Klinik Pergigian MAH at Jalan Loke Yew, Klinik SK Ng, Klinik CW Cheong
