Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah has accepted the resignation of Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu from the post as well as that of the whole state exco-line up.

In a statement released by Royal Comptroller Abd Rahim Mohamad Nor, the Palace said that Sultan Nazrin met with Faizal who is Chenderiang state assemblyperson, at 3pm yesterday at Istana Kinta in Ipoh.
