BUSINESSES

- Passion Fit, The Linc, Kuala Lumpur

The gym outlet at The Linc KL, in a notice to members, said one of its members had tested positive for Covid-19.

It said the member last visited PassionFit on Dec 2 and was on Dec 3 informed he had been in direct contact with a Covid-19 patient.

A test on Dec 4 confirmed the member had been infected with Covid-19.

Therefore, the gym said it will be closing until further notice for disinfection works.

The gym added that it is also contacting all members who attended the same class as the infected member for self-quarantine measures.

- Transport systems company in Taman Persiaran Bangi, Selangor

Two videos showing a group of foreign workers being escorted away by health workers in full personal protective equipment have gone viral since yesterday. It was claimed that they are employees of a transport system company that operates in Taman Persiaran Bangi, and that at least 90 of the workers have tested positive for Covid-19.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah had confirmed yesterday (Dec 4) that there were 90 positive cases involving a workplace in Bangi but did not name the company.

He said the cases were part of Hentian cluster, which has recorded a total of 1,836 positive cases as of noon yesterday.


RESIDENCES

- Lakepark Residence, Kuala Lumpur

The management of this apartment complex located off Jalan Ipoh issued a notice on Thursday (Dec 3) that a resident at Block B has been found positive for Covid-19.

According to a report by China Press, the patient has been hospitalised while the apartment management had since taken precautionary measures by disinfecting public areas there, including elevators, the ground floor and security room for Block A and B, and the floor where the resident lived.

- Idaman Putera Condominium, Kuala Lumpur

A resident posted on Facebook today that some 1,100 residents of this condominium were tested for Covid-19 earlier today.

She claimed that the screening exercise was conducted after several foreigners who live there were found positive, allegedly linked to the Jernai Cluster.

- Kampung Melayu, Sedenak, Kulai, Johor

The Kulai district health officer reported that there are four cases of Covid-19 in Kampung Melayu, Sedenak.

- First Residence, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

The management in a statement said there was one positive case at the apartment complex. Sanitisation works will be carried out.


EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

- Madrasah Ad-Diniah Al Falahiah, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan

This religious school will be placed under the enhanced movement control order from this Monday until Dec 20, 2020, according to Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob today.

The decision was made due to the high number of positive Covid-19 cases there.

He told a press conference that 20 positive cases have been detected at the school as of Dec 3.
