BUSINESSES

- Crossfit Pahlawan, Citta Mall Petaling Jaya, Selangor

A member of this gymnasium tested positive, a notice to members yesterday said.

When contacted, the gymnasium confirmed the notice.

The member is believed to have contracted the virus at his workplace, and not at the gymnasium.

The member took his first test as part of a workplace screening on Nov 24, but was tested negative. As such he attended gymnasium classes as per normal after that, until he subsequently tested positive.

All close contacts have been notified while Crossfit Pahlawan coaching staff have undergone Covid-19 screening on Dec 2 and tested negative.

The gymnasium encourages all members who attended morning and evening sessions to undergo Covid-19 screening.

The gymnasium was closed for disinfection and will reopen tomorrow. 

- Fortune Square 1, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

A contractor technician who conducted works at Fortune Square 1 in Taman Usahawan Kepong was found positive for Covid-19 on Saturday (Nov 28).

Following this, its management body has carried out disinfection works at all possibly contaminated areas to prevent further spread of the virus.

The businesses there remain open.


RESIDENCES

- Ixora Apartment, Pudu, Kuala Lumpur

Residents are not allowed to leave the apartment compound starting last night and have to wear pink quarantine bracelets.

Confirming this to Oriental Daily, Bukit Bintang MP Fong Kui Lun said the residents were informed last night, while some who were not home at the time were barred from returning home.

He said there are many construction workers living in the area. 

- Fortune Avenue, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

The management body for Fortune Avenue Block A and B issued a notice yesterday that one of its residents tested positive for Covid-19.

When contacted today, a spokesperson confirmed the case, saying that it involves a woman who owns one of the units at Block B. She was found positive yesterday.

The management said they would be carrying out sanitisation activities at the premises, which is located at Taman Usahawan Kepong, by today.

- Pangsapuri Seri Akasia, Taman Puchong Prima, Selangor

A resident of Block A tested positive for Covid-19 and was transferred to Hospital Sungai Buloh on Nov 29, the management said.

No visitors are allowed for blocks A and B while deliveries must be collected at the guardhouse.

When contacted, the management stressed this is an isolated case. 

- Pangsapuri Maharani, Muar, Johor

A resident has tested positive for Covid-19, the management said.

Disinfection is underway, the management said in a notice to residents today.


GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Iskandar Puteri police district headquarters (IPD), Johor

A police inspector attached to this IPD has tested positive for Covid-19.

Some 111 of the inspector's close contacts have been placed under home quarantine since Nov 30, said Johor police chief Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.

They include 36 police officers, 71 other police personnel, a civil servant, and three of the inspector's family members, Bernama reported.


MEDICAL FACILITIES

- Rapha Clinic, Kulim, Kedah

It is learned that a positive Covid-19 case visited this clinic last month.

Following this, the clinic was ordered to close temporarily starting Nov 21 until Dec 4 for disinfection activities.


OTHERS

- Plaza Tol Sedenak, Johor Bahru, Johor

A staff member at this toll plaza tested positive on Dec 1.

The toll plaza was closed yesterday for six hours for disinfection.
