GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
- Forest Research Institute Malaysia (Frim) office and park
Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng has confirmed that there were Covid-19 cases detected in Frim.
The Frim office was closed from Nov 9 to Nov 22, while the park has been closed from Nov 9 until further notice.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- KTM Express Timuran (Johor Bahru to Tumpat)
A passenger in coach T6 of this express train line (ERT26), traveling from Johor Bahru Sentral to Tumpat Train Station on Nov 10, has tested positive.
Most of the exposed passengers have been screened, but the Kelantan Health Department is still seeking six passengers who have yet to come forward.
They hold the tickets number T201152111087, T201035922381, T201078130791, T201182443886, T201176241266, and T201193852880.
BUSINESSES
- Pinch Bistro, Jalan Bangkung, Kuala Lumpur
A patron who visited the restaurant on Nov 19 has tested positive for Covid-19, Pinch said.
Staff members who had direct contact with the customer have undergone screening.
The restaurant is closed starting Nov 23 for disinfection and will reopen once all staff members have tested negative.
- Alliance Bank, Taman Connaught, Kuala Lumpur
An office employee of this branch tested positive on Nov 22.
The employee had been absent from work since Nov 19, the bank said.
The office is closed until Wednesday for disinfection.
- KWC Fashion Wholesale Mall, Pudu, Kuala Lumpur
A staff member of QW Cosmetic at Lot 16, Level 5 tested positive for Covid-19 on Nov 22, the mall management said.
She left the mall on Nov 18 at 6pm immediately after learning that her brother had tested positive for Covid-19 that day.
She underwent self-quarantine until testing positive on Nov 22.
She was asymptomatic when she tested positive, but sought treatment for a fever at a local polyclinic on Nov 12.
The mall has been sanitised.
- Pasaraya Shaan, Kulim, Kedah
At least one Covid-19 case was traced to this supermarket, Padang Serai MP M Karuppaiya confirmed.
The supermarket announced that it will be closed until further notice, pending advice from the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, the Kulim District Health Office denied a viral message urging all who visited the supermarket to come forward for testing.
"We urge all residents to remain calm. We received no such instructions (to test all customers). If you are a close contact, the Kulim District Health Office will contact you," it said on Facebook.
The supermarket is located at Taman Bayam Indah, where 10 cases were detected yesterday.
- Salutica Bhd factory, Ipoh, Perak
In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia today, the company said "a number" of its production workers have tested positive for Covid-19.
The affected production areas have been closed for disinfection and affected workers quarantined, it said.
As a precautionary measure, employees are allowed to work from home for two weeks.
- Padini outlet, IOI Mall Puchong
Padini confirmed that one of its staff at the mall's Padini Concept Store tested positive with Covid-19 on Nov 20.
In a statement, it said that the store had undertaken sanitisation and deep cleaning process on Nov 21 and a separate team had been deployed to the store.
- Awiera Tomyam restaurant, Raub
The Awiera Tomyam restaurant in Raub has been closed since yesterday after two customers, who visited the restaurant on Nov 17, tested positive for Covid-19. The duo was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Kelantan when the stopped at the restaurant.
Restaurant staff would be quarantined and also undergo a swab test today. In a statement, the management said that the restaurant would be closed until Nov 30.

- Taman Putri Fasa 4, Kulai, Johor
According to the Kulai Health Office, a case was detected at this residential area. The district has 16 active cases.
- Kampung Pantai Emas, Kota Belud, Sabah
Those who attended a kenduri nibau (a gathering to pay respects to a deceased's family) at this village on Nov 11 are urged to come forward for Covid-19 screening.
They are urged to contact the Kota Belud Health District Office at 011-23456840 or 088-976388.
- Taman Saleng, Kulai, Johor
One Covid-19 case has been reported in Taman Saleng, Kulai. This is based on an infographic released by the Kulai Health Department on its Facebook page yesterday.
- Kampung Tawadakan, Kota Belud, Sabah
Those who attended a kenduri arwah hari ketujuh (gathering to mark the seventh day of the deceased's passing) at Kampung Tawadakan on Nov 11 are urged to undergo Covid-19 screening.
The screening will be held tomorrow at the village community hall from 10am to 1pm, the Kota Belud District Health Office said.
