BUSINESSES

- Common Ground, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

The co-working space provider issued a notice on Tuesday notifying customers that a tenant has been tested positive Covid-19.

According to them, the individual had come into the premises on Nov 12 and was allowed to enter after registering a normal body temperature. The person, however, became unwell and left several hours later, before taking a Covid-19 test at the hospital on Nov 16.

The building is closed for two days from Nov 18 to 20 for deep sanitisation and cleaning. The company added its staff will undergo Covid-19 screening.

- Murni Discovery, Cheras branch, Kuala Lumpur

The Cheras branch of Murni Discovery detected one case of Covid-19 among its staff on Nov 14. Test results showed that six other employees in Cheras were also infected.

All branches were closed on Nov 15 for sanitisation and will remain closed until further notice.

- Padini Concept Store, Station 18 Ipoh, Perak

Padini Holdings Berhad in a statement said that they were informed by the Health Ministry on Monday that several shoppers who visited the Padini Concept Store in Station 18 on Oct 30 and Nov 12 have since been tested positive with Covid-19.

Following this, the company has carried out a sanitisation and deep cleaning process at the outlet. All staff took Covid-19 swab tests yesterday (Nov 17) and were ordered to undergo 14-day quarantine.


RESIDENCES

- Pavilion Residences, Kuala Lumpur

The management of this luxury residence issued a notice yesterday that two outsourced cleaning service workers have tested positive for Covid-19.

According to the notice, which was forwarded to Malaysiakini, the management is taking the initiative to conduct disinfection activities at its common areas as a precaution.

- Relau Vista Apartment, Penang

According to a news report by Kwong Wah, the management of Relau Vista Apartment issued a notice on Tuesday saying that a resident tested positive for Covid-19.

It said all residents entering the apartment from the guard room are required to take their body temperature and wear masks.

- Menara Greenview, Penang

The building's management issued a notice on Tuesday notifying residents that a positive case has been detected at the premises, according to a report by Kwong Wah.

It called on other residents to strictly observe standard operating procedures for prevention.

- Kampung Nahaba and Kampung Tegudon, Kota Belud, Sabah

These villages are placed under enhanced movement control order (MCO) due to a spike of cases in the area, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.

The enhanced MCO will be from Nov 19 to Dec 3 and affects 1740 residents, he said.

Up to Nov 17, a total of 36 cases were detected in both locations.

- Zone B and C of Taman Meru 2C, Ipoh, Perak

These areas are now placed under an enhanced movement control order due to a spike of cases detected, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.

The EMCO will be from Nov 20 to Dec 3 and affects 2,288 residents, he said.

Up to Nov 16, a total 76 of 938 individuals screened have tested positive for Covid-19 here, he said.   

- Vista Saujana Apartment, Taman Wangsa Permai, Kuala Lumpur

China Press reported that a resident at the apartment has tested positive for Covid-19. 

It said the apartment's management has posted a notice on the matter that said sanitisation works will begin tomorrow.
