BUSINESSES

- Careplus, Senawang, Negri Sembilan

Careplus Group Bhd reported that some workers in its factory at the Senawang Industrial Estate in Negeri Sembilan have tested positive for Covid-19 and are now under the care of a government hospital.

Careplus has immediately taken necessary actions which include closing affected factory facilities, facilitating thorough disinfection and sanitisation in accordance with Health Ministry guidelines, it said.

The group has arranged for all of its 2,000 staff members to undergo Covid-19 testing, but has declined to disclose how many tested positive.

- Bank Muamalat Tanah Merah Branch, Kelantan

The bank has confirmed that one of its employees attached to its Tanah Merah Branch in Kelantan has been tested positive for Covid-19.

According to a Bernama report, the bank issued a statement saying that the employee is now in hospital for treatment, while all co-workers who have been in direct contact have been asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

The branch located at the Kompleks Perniagaan Humaira in Pusat Bandar Tanah Merah has been closed from Nov 8 until further notice.


RESIDENCES

- Medan 88, Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang, Selangor

This area is placed under enhanced movement control order (MCO) after at least 40 Covid-19 cases were detected there.

The 284 premises are mostly shoplots and shophouses and are home to 800 residents.

The enhanced MCO is until Nov 25. 

- Jalan Perigi Nanas, Taman Perindustrian Pulau Indah, Klang

There is an outbreak at a workers' hostel located at this road, Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.

Jalan Perigi Nanas is located in the Pulau Indah Industrial Park.

To date, 71 individuals have tested positive. They are part of the Perigi cluster.
