The trial of Najib Abdul Razak and former Treasury secretary-general Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah on six charges of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM6.6 billion of government funds will start in September 2021, to make way for the completion of two criminal cases of the former prime minister, with the prosecution expected to call 50 witnesses.
