A French citizen who was initially allowed home quarantine in Langkawi upon arriving in Malaysia will now be sent for institutionalised quarantine instead.

In a statement tonight, Langkawi OCPD Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the man has been brought to the Air Hangat Health Clinic for quarantine.
