COVID-19 | A total of 235 individuals were arrested for defying the recovery movement control order (MCO) yesterday, said Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said of the total, 15 were in remand and the others were issued with compounds.

“The police also mounted 65 roadblocks nationwide and inspected 25,019 vehicles to contain the influx of illegal immigrants, especially at rat lanes,” he said in a statement on the recovery MCO today.
