Police will not compromise with any element of gangsterism, including threatening the whistleblowers who expose crime or illegal activities.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Abdul Hamid Bador said the case involving the owner of Hot Burger Malaysia, Mohd Asri Hamid, 42, who was reportedly threatened by gangsters after he exposed illegal gambling activities in Sungai Buloh, for example, was unacceptable.
