Another MP booted out of Bersatu and 8 news you may have missed

1. Sri Gading's Shahruddin Salleh is the latest MP to be booted out of Bersatu for sitting with the opposition during the Dewan Rakyat sitting.

2. The Prime Minister's Department clarified that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin did not say the government will recognise the United Examination Certificate (UEC), the certification for Chinese independent school students.

3. The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) acknowledged that no such announcement was made by Muhyiddin and agreed that the UEC needs to follow the national education policy.

4. DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng claimed that Muhyiddin, who served as the home minister under the previous Pakatan Harapan government, had never intended to reinvestigate the death of Teoh Beng Hock.
