The Sabah Education Department has rescinded its invitation for Chief Minister Shafie Apdal to officiate the state's Teachers' Day event scheduled for today.

The invitation by Sabah Education Department director Mistirine Radin was received by the Sabah Chief Minister's Office on July 7, only to be withdrawn a day later.
