Umno vice-president Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the current Perikatan Nasional government was not a strong one and is facing constant pressure from the opposition due to its thin majority and these problems can best be resolved in snap polls.

"Overall, the government today is not strong. That is why the best solution is to return the mandate for the people to decide.
