The government will not hesitate to implement the maximum price scheme for standard chicken if prices continue to rise sharply, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi.

He said the ministry would set a ceiling price for standard chicken similar to that carried out during the festive season, if necessary.
