CORONAVIRUS | Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) vice-chancellor Aini Idris has dismissed claims that one of their lecturers attended the Sri Petaling tabligh gathering and carried on teaching without informing others that he had participated in the event.

This was in response to a WhatsApp message alleging that the lecturer, an associate professor at UPM, had not declared that he was part of the gathering which had been linked to the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia.
