Amanah vice-president Mahfuz Omar today clarified that the issue of former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad's return to Pakatan Harapan did not arise during their meeting last night.
Instead, Mahfuz said the meeting, which was also attended by other Amanah leaders, had discussed Mahathir's readiness to cooperate against the new Perikatan Nasional (PN) government.
"Whether he (Mahathir) will return to Harapan was not mentioned, but we will cooperate.
"Because they (Bersatu) will be facing their elections, so let us give them room to finish their elections first," he told Malaysiakini.
