Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has lambasted the Palestinian peace deal as a one-sided affair hatched by the US and Israel without any consultation with the Palestinians.

Speaking at the third conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds which kicked off this morning, Mahathir said that the plan has "spiked any attempts to bring peace or justice to Palestine and acknowledges only the powerful occupier while completely ignoring the rights of the oppressed."
