The Penang General Hospital is seeking family members or next of kin of two deceased men whose bodies have not been claimed and are still at its Medical Forensic Department.

The department’s deputy director (Medical) Dr Nur Asyura Muhammad said the deceased persons are Cheah Ah Kau, 69, a Buddhist, with address at 21, Batu Maung near here and another, a Muslim man by the name of Mohd Ibrahim Abdullah, 55, with address at K-E-09 Taman Free School.

She said Cheah died last Jan 19 due to Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), while Mohd Ibrahim died last Jan 22 due to septic shock secondary to spontaneous bacterial peritonitis," she said in a statement here today.

She called for members of the public who know the family members or next of kin of the two men to contact the hospital at 04-2225947 or 04-2225116 for funeral arrangements.
