1. BN won the Kimanis by-election with a 2,029-vote majority, an improved performance from its slim 156-vote majority in the last general election.
2. PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said both Pakatan Harapan and Warisan need to redouble efforts following the defeat in Kimanis.
3. Sabah Umno chief Bung Moktar Radin believes the Kimanis win will lead to a revival of Sabah Umno which has been in tatters after a series of defection.
4. Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says some 200,000 influenza vaccines will be made available by February amidst concerns of an outbreak.
