All parliamentarians have been briefed on the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) bill and it will be brought to cabinet to be approved next, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Liew Vui Keong.
"The IPCMC 2019 Bill has been presented to all parliament members this morning and we have received some suggestions, but because it still under embargo, I cannot distribute any information to the public at this point.
"After this, I will bring this matter to the cabinet, and if the cabinet agrees with the suggestions from the special select committee, then we will continue with the tabling of this bill next week," Liew told reporters in parliament today...
