Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam is contemplating whether to answer the contempt proceedings brought against him for alleged threats against a witness in 1MDB criminal trial - or to make an application to set it aside.

His lawyer, Wan Aizuddin Wan Mohammed, said this to the High Court in Kuala Lumpur today, when requesting the court to set another mention date for Lokman's case.

According to the counsel, they needed more time to deliberate on the options as Lokman (photo, above) was only served with additional affidavits for the case three days ago (on Nov 5)...
