PARLIAMENT | There has been an increase in the prevalence of suicidal thoughts among teenagers as measured between 2012 and 2017, says health deputy minister Dr Lee Boon Chye.
"The National Health and Morbidity study in 2017 has found that [...] among teenagers aged 13 to 17 years old, there is an increasing trend of the prevalence of suicidal thoughts, that is 10 percent in 2017 compared to 7.9 percent in 2012," Lee said during the question-and-answer session in the Dewan Rakyat today.
