MACC has announced that former PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa will be charged with money laundering tomorrow.
The charges will be made at the Shah Alam Sessions Court in the morning.
The graft busters detained and released Nasharudin this afternoon at their headquarters in Putrajaya.
The MACC did not state in its statement what the charges were about.
However, Nasharudin had previously been accused by PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli in a 2017 statutory declaration of receiving funds from SRC International.
The former PAS number two, however, denied this allegation. The party, meanwhile, distanced itself from the allegations.
Nasharudin had threatened to sue Rafizi but this did not materialise.
The MACC had also questioned Nasharudin while probing allegations that PAS received RM90 million from Umno.
