1. Former 1MDB chief executive officer Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi has likened businessperson Low Taek Jho's relationship to former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak as a mafia adviser.
2. Police arrested DAP's Gadek assemblyperson G Saminathan and Seremban Jaya assemblyperson P Gunasekaran under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma), which allows for detention without trial, for their alleged links with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
