Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, the wife of Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, was discharged today from the hospital she was admitted to for mild food poisoning.

She was allowed to leave the Prince Court Medical Centre where she was admitted last Monday, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office over WhatsApp.

The PMO also shared a photograph of Siti Hasmah leaving the hospital at around 2pm.

Siti Hasmah was unable to join Mahathir on his three-day official visit to Vietnam, which concluded yesterday.
